Entering Your Mailbox
From any touchtone phone:
- Call the VMX System
- Press #
- Enter your Mailbox Number
- Enter the pre-assigned Security Code
The VMX System May:
Play a welcome message
Ask you to change the pre-assigned security code
Ask you to record your name
Ask you to record a personal greeting

Security Code Change
If you are asked to change the existing security code when
you
enter your mailbox:
- Enter a new security code
- Press #
- Re-enter the new security code to confirm and press #
Name or Greeting Record
Once you enter your mailbox, the VMX System may prompt you to
record your name or record a greeting:
- 1 Begin recording
- # End recording
- # Save recording or 1 Re-record

Before ending recording, you can:
2 Back up and review several seconds
2 2 Back up to beginning
3 Erase
* Pause/Resume recording
# End recording and turn on greeting
# Leave greeting unchanged

- 1 2 To checkthe status of a message
- Enter mailbox number
Custom Options
The system prompts you with all of your available option.
You can override the prompt by pressing the desired feature key.

Assign a Personal Assistant
- 1 6 For Custom Options
- 5 Personal Assistance feature
- Enter the extension number of your personal assistant
- # Return to Ready
If a personal assistant is currently defined, the VMX
System
states the mailbox number.
* Remove Personal Assistance
# No change and return to Ready
