Participants surveyed said they were highly satisfied with the process of the Enterprise Desktop |
Hardware Standardization Initiative Advisory Work Group. The advisory work group, comprised of |
the staff from 24 agencies, boards and commissions, met from April through October to develop |
state desktop and laptop hardware standards and a standards revision process. |
Participants were asked for feedback about their experience in the areas of efficiency, quality and
|
openness of the work group process. |
| On a scale of one (least satisfied) to four (most satisfied), participants rated their experience at an |
overall score of 3.41 with no areas receiving a single response below 3.0. Receiving one of the |
highest ratings of 3.8 was the question about the responsiveness demonstrated by staff in |
researching and facilitating resolution of issues and ideas. |
| One participant said, “I thought this workshop was worthwhile, focused, well-organized and very |
professional. I appreciated the opportunity to provide a voice.” |
| More information about the survey result can be found at the Enterprise Desktop Hardware Web |
Standardization Initiative Web site or by navigating through the Enterprise Projects section of the |
site of the Ohio Office of Information Technology and clicking on the “Desktop Hardware |
Standards.” |
