R. Steve Edmonson, director of the Office of Information Technology and state chief information officer, recently issued Ohio IT Policy ITP-F.4, "Executive Branch Cabinet Agency Web Site Standardization,” effective on March 3, 2008. |

This policy establishes Web site standards for executive branch cabinet agency Web sites. The intent of these requirements is to create a degree of consistency and predictability among public-facing Web pages while still providing executive branch cabinet agencies with the flexibility to design Web pages that fit their unique needs. |

The policy was developed in collaboration with the Governor’s Office and several contributing agencies. |
