The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is now providing an online summary report of |
information technology-related Ohio legislation. |
Updated regularly throughout each session, the online legislative report lists bills under |
| consideration in the Ohio General Assembly that may have an impact on the State of Ohio's |
acquisition and use of information technology. For each bill, the report provides a brief synopsis |
| of the IT-related issue being addressed and then gives the status of the bill in the General |
Assembly. The report also provides a link to the bill text and related information on the |
| General Assembly's Web site. |
The Web address for the online update is: http://oit.ohio.gov/IGD/policy/ITLegislation.aspx |
The online update is produced by the OIT Investment and Governance Division's (IGD) Statewide |
IT Policy program area in support of Executive Order 2004-02T, which charges OIT to provide |
leadership, oversight and direction of activities relating to information technologies and their use |
statewide. |
IGD's Statewide IT Policy program area examines today's compelling IT issues and develops |
strategic state policies, standards and research concerning the management of the state's |
considerable annual IT investments. |
