Windows/Open VMS Services comprises the following operational groups:

HP OpenVMS Systems Services
Enterprise Computing offers an experienced
group to manage HP OpenVMS systems. OpenVMS
(Virtual Memory System) is a multi-user,
multitasking, virtual memory operating system
that runs on DEC's VAX and Alpha lines of
minicomputers and workstations. This group
provides 24 x 7 system availability as well
as system administration, technical support
and backup and recovery services from 7:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Windows Systems Services
Enterprise Computing Windows Systems Services
group provides a secure environment for
state agencies' Windows servers. Servers
are housed at the State of Ohio Computer
Center providing a secure and stable environment.
Staff provides 24 x 7 system availability
as well as system administration, technical
support and backup and recovery services
from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday.

Timekeeping Services
Windows/Open VMS Services staff manage
Kronos timekeeping software which utilizes
time clocks to record employee work time
and enables agencies to report employee
work time to time clocks connected to ISD.
An interface to the state payroll system
eliminates the need to re-key work time
data, and a new graphical user interface
makes it easier to review employee work
time.

Exchange/Outlook Mail Services
For integrated email and information management,
Windows/Open VMS Services staff offer Microsoft
Exchange/Outlook Mail Services. This service
allows agencies to take advantage of the
organization management of all email, calendar,
contact and task information using a single,
integrated application in a safe, secure
and reliable infrastructure.
