Although the Secretary of State and the Ohio Legislative Service Commission maintain official registers of Ohio administrative rules, this page is provided by Statewide IT Policy as a convenience to state agencies. Administrative Rule 123:3-1-01 was adopted following the enactment of the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act (UETA). UETA establishes the legal equivalence of electronic records and electronic signatures with paper documents and manual signatures.
