IT Investment Planning

Information Technology (IT) investment planning in the state of Ohio has never been more essential. State agencies are increasing their reliance on IT solutions to meet Governor Strickland’s challenge to Turnaround Ohio” to make State Government accountable by” Living Within Our Means, Investing In What Matters, and Demanding Results.”

The Office for State IT Investment Management is committed to helping to ease the burden of State agency IT planning for the upcoming FY 2010-2011 biennium. Our goals are to begin streamlining and integrating planning processes as much as possible; centralize access to IT planning resource information needed by State agencies for the development of their IT Plan; to provide assistance to agency IT planning through customer engagements and trainings; and to provide direction and guidance as it pertains to planning throughout the biennial planning period and beyond.
